I have been thinking for a long time about how to reduce the cost of a design project in such a way as to create a service that would be available to almost every person who planned a repair. I realize that a full cost design project is more of an elite service, and I wanted to come up with something massive, for everyone, but with the individuality of each. After all, every person deserves to live in a beautiful and comfortable housing.
And then one day, considering a kit for self-assembly of furniture, which were well-designed
, neatly filed, but not even painted wooden parts I thought - and what if from a design project to do something similar - leave the necessary minimum in the calculation that the end user will make efforts and do some of the work that does not require special skills and experience, independently? Unfortunately, we had to exclude the computer visualization of the future interior, as this process is very time consuming and time consuming. So the idea of "Quick Design" was born. Tatiana, that's the name of the girl who addressed me, she decided to repair the living room. This is one of the rooms of the apartment where an ordinary young family lives: mother, father, daughter and two cats.

As you can see, we are dealing with an ordinary rectangular room of 20 meters and low ceilings. After the discussions the following variant of furniture arrangement was approved.
I added a coffee table in front of the couch, an armchair, to make a nice space for communication. The room does not have enough storage space for small items, so closed shelves were added near the computer desk and the chest of drawers. The old version of lighting assumed only one scenario - the top light - on the ceiling there is one chandelier per cent. I suggested Tatiana to increase the number of light sources, added a floor lamp and a table lamp. In general, I think it is important, the presence of at least two lighting options in the room, there must always be an alternative to the chandelier in order to watch the favorite film in the evening with the soft light of interior lamps and floor lamps.

As you can see, Tatiana likes light colors and bright colored accents, modern interior, images of trees, branches, flowers and a drop of glamor. But, I confess, the answer in the questionnaire about what colors I like is a bit stumped: Warm tones, yellow, maybe beige, pale pink or chilly pale, without very bright colors.
Another difficulty arose with a sofa, the old one has a very colorful padding in a flower. The budget for buying a new one is very modest, there was nothing suitable even in Ikea, the most inexpensive sofa bed Bedinge costs 14,999. Therefore, we decided on the option of self-changing the upholstery on an old sofa . As a backup option - to wait for the sale of exhibition samples .
It was revealed , that under the fact that he does not want to see the wallpaper, Tatiana had in view exactly the traditional wallpaper with a picture, the wallpaper for painting it was quite arranged.
As a result, I proposed a choice of two options: a variant in cold colors and a variant in warm colors.
