Ingredients:
- cottage cheese of any fat content – 300 g;
- apple – 1 piece (large);
- egg – 1 pc;
- sugar – 2-3 tbsp. l;
- vanillin – 0.5 tsp;
- wheat flour – 3 tbsp. l. for cheesecakes + a little for breading;
- vegetable oil - for frying.

Recipe with photos step by step:

We use cottage cheese for cheesecakes of any fat content. The recipe uses homemade cottage cheese, quite fatty, not sour and well pressed from the whey. If the cottage cheese has a different consistency (pasty or granular), you may need a little more or less flour.

Peel the apple and grate it on a coarse grater. You can cut the apple into very small cubes or chop it into thin strips.

Layered dense cottage cheese (as in the recipe) must be mashed with a fork or masher to a more uniform consistency.

Add an egg to the cottage cheese. If you need to reduce the calorie content of the finished dish, then use only the white; the yolk is higher in calories.

Mix the cottage cheese with the egg, pour the grated apple into the curd mass.

Add sugar to taste. Along with sugar, pour vanillin into the cottage cheese or add any other flavoring - cinnamon, nutmeg.

Add wheat flour, sifted in advance. You may need a little more or less than indicated in the recipe - it all depends on the consistency of the cottage cheese, and of course your taste. For more delicate cheesecakes made from cottage cheese and apple, the amount of flour is kept to a minimum.

After adding flour, mix all ingredients thoroughly. We should get an almost homogeneous curd mass, quite viscous in consistency.

Sprinkle some wheat flour on a cutting board or table. We take about a tablespoon of curd mass and spread it on the flour. We form a ball, press it down and get a plump cake.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Reduce the heat to medium, carefully lay out the cheesecakes and brown them on both sides. It is better to fry the cheesecakes over low or medium heat - they will have time to steam inside, become denser and brown evenly.

You can serve cottage cheese pancakes with apples hot or cooled, warm, with any sweet sauce, sour cream,

Thank you very much for the recipe! Before this, I only cooked regular cheesecakes in the oven, without apples or cereal breading. Added a little salt and a couple of tablespoons of sugar. I had three apples - it turned out well, without too much sweetness. I added a little flour to the dough (I was afraid it would spread) and a teaspoon of baking powder. I don’t know what it would have been like without them, but the result is great. Pour melted butter over the finished cheesecakes and serve with honey.
Answer: Ekaterina, thanks for the comment! If you squeeze apples, nothing will spread even without flour;)

Isn't there any sugar in there at all? I put in 2 tablespoons, but it’s still sour to me. Or do the apples need to be very sweet? Or do I have such a sweet tooth?))) Here, it seems, everyone baked and almost no one mentions sugar.
Answer: Of course, the sweetness can be adjusted to personal preference. Regular cottage cheese contains natural sweetness; if it is eaten with honey or chocolate, then you should not add sugar to the curd mass. In general, focus on your desires and the quality of the cottage cheese.

Answer: This is melted chocolate, squeezed out using a pastry bag from the narrowest nozzle

Cooking them in the oven is not only healthier, but also easier than frying them in a frying pan. It’s healthier because there’s less fat, there’s no hard-to-digest crispy crust and no harmful substances from hot oil. Easier - because there is no smoke and there is no risk that the cheesecakes will stick to the pan or not cook through. Well, it’s more convenient, of course, to place the workpieces once on a baking sheet and not stand for half an hour at the stove.
The rest of the preparation is the same - we make a thick curd dough, roll it into balls and turn them into flat cakes.

Ingredients:

cottage cheese – 500 grams;

chicken egg – 2 pieces;

sugar - 3-4 tablespoons;

wheat flour - about a glass (how much dough will take);

apple – 2 pieces;

cinnamon - a pinch.

Cooking cheesecakes with apples in the oven.

Choose dry low-fat cottage cheese for cheesecakes - this is a win-win option. It doesn’t have excess moisture, which means it won’t take a lot of flour and the pancakes will have a pronounced curd flavor. In addition, the dough will not spread in the oven.

Add eggs and sugar to cottage cheese.

Mix the mass. There is no need to beat or rub anything vigorously.

Add flour little by little, stirring the dough until it begins to break up into separate dry lumps.

At this stage, add chopped apples (preferably without peel) and cinnamon.

Mix the apples well into the dough and then roll it into flat thick cakes. Sprinkle the baking sheet thickly with flour and lay out the pieces. If you cover the baking sheet with parchment, you need to sprinkle the parchment with flour too, otherwise the paper will stick.

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees and place the cheesecakes in it. Since there is no soda in the dough, they will not spread, but will rise a little due to the fact that the cottage cheese softens. After 15-20 minutes, check readiness. If the dough is baked, you can increase the temperature to 200 degrees to brown the top. If the bottom side of the cheesecakes is fried, but the top remains pale, you can lightly grease it with sweet water and place the baking sheet for a couple of minutes directly under the upper spiral of the oven. Bon appetit.
